What To Expect

Zona Arqueologica Teotihuacan
Discover the secrets of past cultures among imposing pyramids, avoid crowds by being one of the first to reach this majestic archeological site.

Starting in a private vehicle from your accommodation, we will leave Mexico City early to avoid city traffic and crowds at the pyramids. Our route around the site will include an in-depth examination of the three most significant Teotihuacan structures: the pyramids of Luna, Sun and Feathered Serpent. Our expert certified guide will delve into the stories, traditions and sacred rights that date back to the classical Mesoamerican era. We will have the option of climbing the steep steps of a pyramid, where our guide can point out the geographical influence of Teotihuacan in the neighboring regions. Our path will also lead us to several important compounds with murals before the Mayans and Aztecs, and we will learn about these palace designs and the artistic style that permeated not only the ancient Teotihuacan society but many Mesoamerican civilizations for millennia.

In the end we will have a tasting of traditional drinks such as pulque, tequila and mezcal.

Solid visit to the pyramids

Gerardo is a well informed and enthusiastic guide. Having a masters in art history, he gave us much insight and information about the pyramids.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him on our private tour.
He promptly picked us up at 8am and we spent all morning with him, capping our visit with a tasting of pulque, tequila and mezcal.
Given the choice, we would choose this tour again, hands down.
Gracias!!!
Incredible experience.

An incredible experience. Had little knowledge on the Teotihuacan. Really not to be missed. Guide had excellent knowledge on the subject.

I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this tour. Miguel was our guide and was incredibly knowledgeable and patient with us and all of our questions. He knew so much about the history of the area and the settlers there as well as the architecture. You should not visit Teotihuacan without one of these guides (Miguel is the best!) because there’s just no way that you would be able to find out all of this information without them! He even made a recommendation that we visit the Anthropology Museum, which we did this afternoon and it was so informative, but I found it especially cool that the Teotihuacan exhibit reinforced everything that Miguel had told us, so cool! On to the best place, the Shrine at Our Lady of Guadalupe next!
Awesome private tour

My 15 year and I had a great experience with our tour guide Gerardo. Gerardo is an art scholar who was a Wikipedia of knowledge. This was my second time in Teotihuacan, but the first time with a guide. You miss so much without a guide/scholar to navigate and learn about the history of this place.

When booking this tour, I was under the impression that we would be with more people. This is really a private tour as advertised. It was great.

Highly recommend!
