Wonderful staff, you can tell they are passionate about their woek. They made ir a very special trip. Tour was conducted by very experienced, kind and professional staff. They always explained the roads and taught us the appropriate technique. It has been one for the books!

Had an amazing hike with Ecotura at Nevado de Toluca. Both of the guides were extremely knowledgable and friendly. Leon would also repeat everything in English for the few of us that weren't native Spanish speakers. I especially liked the pace of the trip. The altitude was difficult for me, but we were able to move slowly and enjoy every part of the hike. There were also frequent stops to allow the group to take photos, rest, or eat a snack.
Amazing Trip!

The EcoTura hike to Nevado de Toluca was an incredible experience. We had two amazing guides, very professional and very knowledgeable. The volcano was beautiful. I would definitely recommend and would definitely do it again.

I highly recommend the hike at Nevado de Toluca with ecotura. The tour was really good organized and our guide Hugo was really knowledgeable and I had great talks with him about the nature and it’s conservation. Our group was great, as the only foreign tourist I felt really good integrated in the group. The views were spectacular and the hike physically rather demanding.
I definitely recommend to wear warm clothes.
Need to be physically intermediate to advanced in hiking

Well organised program though here are few considerations:
1. Make sure to travel with someone who knows Spanish because 97% of communication in Spanish and it particularly important to understand when it comes to safety instructions.
2. This trip requires intermediate to advanced hiking skills and adaptation to high altitude. You should be physically really strong and exercise regularly.
3. I couldn’t do the full hike because it was beyond my capabilities, one of the guides stayed with me and we did a shorter pathway.
4. Dinner at the end was good, but in my opinion unnecessary, I’d prefer going home after this long trip than eating.
5. Everyone is nice and kind. Excellent equipment and well organized trip.
