A must on your list when you visit Mexico City

The shrine is amazing, the guide was bilingual and provided excellent descriptions. They also took us to Aztec ruins in the Mexico city. Very well paced tour.
A fantastic full day trip with friends

The trip itself is a great value - seeing several significant sights in one day. Add the knowledge that Carlos offers and it's not only a good value, but a great experience! I've been to Mexico City before but this is the first time I did a tour. I appreciated gaining deeper insights into the history and culture of the place even though we were in some very touristy spots. And there was time for little photo shoots if you're into that kine of thing. One word of caution - it is a very big, long day. I was fairly tired at the end of it.
A full day excursion

A good way to see many things in one day: Tlatelolco, pulque/tequila tasting + souvenir shop, Teotihuacan Pyramids (~2hrs), and Guadalupe Basilica (~50mins). Would have loved more time at the Basilica (you get a beautiful view of Mexic City) and a less long lunch stop - but overall it was a good experience at a good pace. The guide was nice and friendly.
The coordination for pick-up was disastruous (and could easily have been avoided) - but this reflects more on the travel agency not properly setting clear expectations / instructions with the clients nor sharing these same details with the guide/driver picking us up (we were told a meeting point at 9pm the night prior and this information was never conveyed to the guide who drove to our hotels while we were at another meeting point thus ensuing in an hour delay in pick-up).
Overall though the experience and day trip we good value for money.
Sergio was a great tour...

Sergio was a great tour guide. Bilingual he gave a great description of the history at each site we visited. I went solo on the tour, but my group had people from Germany, Peru, France and the US. We all enjoyed the tour.
Not too bad

Not enough time in the Basilica of Guadalupe. You might as well do it on your own and catch an uber which will be a lot cheaper. The choice of the restaurant stop (not included in the price) was on the pricey side. On the positive side, the tour leader was informative. The Teotihucan tour was good and sufficient time was alloted.
