Amazing experience, Jocelyn our guide was excellent. We enjoyed the entire experience, including the delicious meal at the end.
Good price. Definitely recommend.

Tour included Teotihuacan, stop at a gas station for WC and snacks (pay your own), stop at a gift shop with free tequila/mezcal samples, and stop at a restaurant for lunch (pay your own). I think it was about 3 hours at the pyramids. Takes a little under an hour each way to and from the pyramids. They pick your up and drop you off at the hotel. We got picked up a little before 7 and dropped off a little after 3.

At the pyramids you could stay with the tour guide or do your own thing for a few hours. The guide was friendly. I would bring sunscreen and wear comfortable clothing because you will do a lot of walking. The site is large.

We had two people on the tour who had to make a flight. They were rushing people at the gift shop and restaurant. I do not recommend booking this tour if you have to be somewhere right after. There were 17 people on the tour. I consider myself to be a little impatient but didn’t think the time we spent at the gift shop or restaurant was abnormal.

Yunen was our guide. He is so knowledgeable and gave us a complete intro during the tour. We loved it and will recommend this to our friends!!
Perfectly timed and executed

From the day before, communication with the tour company was great. Our guide was Yunuen, he got in touch the night before to tell us what time and where we would be collected. He was very punctual and arrived right on time. The bus was fine, although they had cut the seat belt so they were useless. This is why I have dropped one point. Accidents happen and seatbelts save lives. I prefer to have my children and myself strapped in.

We arrived at Teotihuacan at 8am more or less, it was perfect. Hardly any people there and no sitting in traffic. I have done this trip twice before and arrived after 10am both times, it gets busy and hot. This was perfect for soaking up the ancient energy and the intensity of the sun wasn’t tiring at all. It was also really pretty with all the early morning hot air balloons in the sky. Our guide was a Phd student so he was very knowledgable about the site. He gave enough information which was interesting and not too much that you felt overwhelmed. My children seemed to enjoy being there and learned a little bit about the people of Teotihuacan.

Afterwards we went to the fabrica where they produce a lot of tat out of obsidian and ply you with some liquor to try to get you buy it. There is a lot of things here that you wouldn’t really want in your house but there are some pieces that could be a nice souvenir, massively over priced but nice to take something home for the memory.

We then went for lunch in a nearby restaurant (not included in the price of the tour). The food was fine, typically Mexican and reasonably priced. The place was clean, the bathrooms had soap, we left feeling nourished. Then back to Mexico City, we were back in our Air B n B by 2pm. For me this was all perfectly timed. A great tour and pretty reasonably priced. If I were to go again or had to recommend a tour, I would definitely recommend this one.
Room for improvement

Teotihuacan was very cool to visit, an awesome day trip from CDMX. Our guide was knowledgeable, communicative and kind. However, the experience after the pyramids was just ok, it was a woman at a store very rapidly talking about a few things and then effectively shopping in a gift shop. The lunch spot after was pretty inedible, and the reservation is for the whole group so if the group isn’t social you’re kind of stuck having a bad sit down meal in silence with people you don’t know. The coffee / snack stop on the way out was a gas station. Wish it was something more local (and with better coffee than gas station coffee) because nothing is open before you leave. I’d probably do it again because it was worth it to see the pyramids but I might look for other ways of getting out there.
