Basilica de Santa Maria de Guadalupe
Have yourself one of the most beautiful experiences by visiting one of the most holy of shrines that is the most visited in the world. The Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, with 17 to 20 million visitors a year, having more visitors that St. Peter´s Basilica in the Vatican. As well as the historical buildings, the great circular basilica is awesome as well as grandiose. The construction itself is an amazing feat, since it was built on the muddy shores of the lake of Texcoco. Walking around Tepeyac Hill, where Mary the mother of Jesus left her image imprinted on St. Juan Diego´s ayate is an experience that should not be missed.

Great tour

We choose the French version of the tour. The guide welcomed us in a spacious SUV. The ride was smooth and spacious.

I think the most important part of this tour was the knowledge of the guide. 40 years in service. Very glad we choose this tour.

Luis Fernandez was our tour guide and he was superb. He was well versed, clear in his explanations, and FUN. The company was also very flexible with our changing needs as we fix in this tour this our son's wedding. This and the City tour are core to understanding Mexico City.
Seeing all of Mexico City!

Hector is the best driver I have had! I have used him for the last 4 years while going to Mexico City and he is friendly, happy, helpful and always with a smile on his face. He is truly the best. I would suggest anyone using him. His car is nice, clean and big. He will give you history of the town, advice on what to see and anything else you want…he even let us play loud music while he sang along with us! He is the best!

Best experience! From booking to the end of our tour, everything was amazing! Great communication when booking with Hector and we were so appreciative to have a great guide, Victor, who spoke both English and Spanish. He was flexible when we needed a little more time and was patient! The vehicle was very nice, clean and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a tour or private transport!
Comfortable trip with an excellent driver and guide!

Our family of four, including two teens, loved this trip. Pre-trip communication was excellent. We arranged to be picked up at 8a to avoid crowds and the driver, Hector, and guide, Rafael, were on time and ready with a new and very clean SUV. Hector was a very good driver (safe but adept at Mexico City driving) and Rafael's expertise and pure love for these subjects was apparent. Both were very friendly and professional. Rafael gave us a guided tour at the pyramids and was able to answer any question we had. There was time for our family to climb the Pyramid of the Sun also. Afterwards we stopped at a restaurant nearby which had very good food. It also had a gift shop (no pressure to buy) and a demonstration about the uses of the maguey plant (needles, paper, and pulque) which was interesting, and included a pulque and mescal tasting (again, no pressure to buy). Afterwards we went to the Basilica and toured the original and entered the "new" one to see the Shrine. Rafael was very knowledgeable about the history and architecture of both the old and new one. The whole say was lovely, comfortable, un-hurried, and fascinating. We learned a lot, our teenage kids loved it, it was a great value, and I completely recommend it.
