Smooth operation. Tour Guide Ulysses was very professional, spoke outstanding English, excellent knowledge of all of the tour stops, plus Alberto as the guide at the pyramid was also superb.

Love the sedan tour beats the bus tours anyday.

The tunnels are not open and will probably not open anymore due to erosion as an FYI.

5 star experience from pick up to drop off and everything else in between.
Best day tour experience in Mexico City

Great experience all around. The driver/guide was very pleasant, provided useful explanations and pointers, but did not overload us. The local guide in Cholula was exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. Both were very flexible, willing to change itinerary a bit - we were interested in seeing a particular church complex and they were happy to do that instead of one of the scheduled churches.
The tour of Pueble included stops in several arts/crafts/candy shops, but more to look-see - there was absolutely no pressure to buy anything from our guide and we were moving along at our own pace. This was a stark contrast in a positive way compared to large group tours we took with a different company.

One technical note about booking - it is not clear from the website if you are booking a private or group tour and the confirmation email gives incorrect information (including outdated phone numbers). We resolved this by calling the company a couple times to confirm/verify. I would recommend anybody wishing to book to call first and then proceed with online booking, then follow up with another call.

Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend Travis Adventures to anyone who wishes to have a quality personalized touring experience.

Overall, the trip went smoothly. The only reason I am not giving this tour a 5 star rating was because of 2 things.

1. We were a group of 4 adults and we were driven in a small compact car. The 2 hour drive to and from Puebla from Mexico City was a bit comfortable. When I asked our driver if there was a bigger car, he said a bigger vehicle was not able/not in service that day.
2. When we got to the center of Puebla, our guide didn't know much about the city as we had a lot of questions that he just didn't know the answer to.

I was happy to be driven in a car to Cholula and Puebla as we could travel than a bus. Cholula was great with our guide Alberto. He even took us to the market to try tacos de cecina! But the Puebla portion was just okay. Our guide for that portion didn’t really know much English (even though we chose an English guide) so we didn’t get the history or knowledge of the city/places visited. It would have been better to drop us off and let us eat and explore on our own for a few hours. But he was a great driver at least.
