What To Expect

Queretaro City
The city of Santiago de Querétaro, where the Mexican Independence movement was detonated, keeps legends and stories shared as architectural and artistic treasures between its walls, walking through the historic center between its baroque and neoclassical buildings, winding streets and viceroyal monuments.

San Miguel de Allende
San Miguel de Allende, a city from the colonial era in the upper central area of Mexico, is known for its Spanish baroque architecture, its active art scene and its cultural festivals. In the historic cobblestone center of the city, there is the Parish of San Miguel Arcángel, in neo-Gothic style, whose spectacular pink towers rise above the main square, El Jardín. Nearby is the church of the Temple of San Francisco with a churrigueresque facade of the eighteenth century.
It is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Mexico and in 2008 it was recognized by UNESCO.
Its cobbled streets, tree-lined patios, fine architectural details and sumptuous interiors will make you fall in love; perhaps that is why CN Travel declared it one of the twenty-five best cities chosen by travelers.

Private tour to Queretaro and San Miguel de Allende

We had a wonderful tour with Juan Carlos! He was very knowledgeable about the region, and gave us a ton of information about Queretaro/San Miguel De Allende. I highly recommend it.
I highly recommend this travel agency and guide.

I highly recommend this travel agency and guide.

A very interesting trip, the guide was VERY competent. He has enormous knowledge and can be interesting! Great driver. The guide knows GREAT restaurants and photo spots!

You probably won't find a better travel agency in Mexico.
Heartwarming Experience!

Private tours are more expensive, but are they worth it?... in a word, YES! I was traveling alone and my private tour to Queretaro & San Miguel with Juan Carlos Garcia was indescribable! The hospitality shown by my guide is hard to put into words and I will never forget my experience! I was fortunate to enough to meet and have breakfast with Juan Carlos and his wife Sara, and I felt like family. I strongly urge you to book a private tour with Juan Carlos and Corazon Historico! More so than the beautiful cities, was the beautiful interpersonal experience! It is something I will never forget, and even though my guide, his wife, and I may never meet again, I feel like I made new friends. I don’t think they will ever realize the impact they made on me! They dropped me off they taught me, “no dices adios, dices que la vaya bien”- “you don’t say goodbye, you say be well!” My faith in humanity is fully restored!
Best guide we've had!

Juan Carlos took my parents and I on this day trip and it was one of the best days we've had in Mexico.
He was super punctual on the pick up, drives safely, answered all of our questions (my dad asks a lot!) and is a great company. A very kind, polite and interesting person!
He was also flexible about the duration of the tour, as we wanted to stay a bit more time in San Miguel.
We ended up booking 2 other tours with him on different days because he was the best guide we had in Mexico (we did a few other tours with other operators).
You can book this tour (and any other) with his company Corazón Histórico, you won't regreat.

Thank you Juan for the great experience!
Maravillosa

Un viaje seguro, con muy buena atención y amabilidad por parte de nuestro conductor Mario. Conocimos cada rincón de San Miguel de Allende y Queretaro, fue maravilloso.
