Biblioteca Palafoxiana
For more than 360 years, the Palafoxiana Library, has been based in the Old College of San Juan within the Seminary founded by Palafox and Mendoza. Our guide Ernie is a local of Puebla and showed us all the interesting places.
It took 3 hrs to drive from Mexico city and we began the tour at 11 am.
The views of the Popo volcano on the way were stunning! The main church of cholula was rich in architecture as well. We walked around the Zocalo and visited few more churches.
We then drove for 30 mins and had lunch in downtown Puebla. We explored a colorful Local market where we shopped for Mexican candy, bags, T shirts and Telavera (Mexican clay made pottery)
The day ended around 4 pm and we drove back to Mexico City by 7 pm.
Ernie did a good job and made our trip enjoyable!
