Our tour with Carlos and driver Arturo was amazing! We loved exploring smaller towns of Puebla and Cholula outside of the hustle of Mexico City. Carlos was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history and culture and answered all of our questions. They were both accommodating if we needed any rest breaks. What a great day!

Trip to Cholula and Puebla
Our guide Ernie is a local of Puebla and showed us all the interesting places.
It took 3 hrs to drive from Mexico city and we began the tour at 11 am.

The views of the Popo volcano on the way were stunning! The main church of cholula was rich in architecture as well. We walked around the Zocalo and visited few more churches.

We then drove for 30 mins and had lunch in downtown Puebla. We explored a colorful Local market where we shopped for Mexican candy, bags, T shirts and Telavera (Mexican clay made pottery)

The day ended around 4 pm and we drove back to Mexico City by 7 pm.

Ernie did a good job and made our trip enjoyable!

Giovani was our guide and Arturo was our driver. They picked us up promptly at 8 am right at our hotel. The car was clean and spacious. We drove first to Cholula for a few stops and then proceeded to Puebla. Giovani was so knowledgeable, he spoke perfect English and made the whole day special. There was never any rush to get to the next stop and we learned so much history throughout. We got back to our hotel just before 7 pm. I would highly recommend this tour and Giovani in particular.
Puebla, a Pleasant Surprise
